Duuvy Jester was born screaming into the golden age of Cold War hysteria. His first act of social critique on planet earth was urinating on the Yankee doctor who delivered him. No one was aware at the time, but this humble act of defiance would later be considered by many as the heroic spoils of war. After the divorce of Duuvy’s parents, stand-up comedy became the vehicle and the modality that gave the world the clarity he was looking for. He studied it. He lived it. He bled comedy from every pore. All school was to him was a theater with a daily audience of 300 people. As a result, Duuvy had to leave school early so he could get an education. Then he discovered psychedelics… 20 years later he reemerged. Since then he has been doing really well in the local and interstate comedy circuits. Captivating audiences with his abstract take on storytelling and stage outfits that make the bush rats swoon. Duuvy was a 2023 QLD Raw state finalist, performed dozens of spots at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and has opened for acts such as Vanessa Larry Mitchell, Akmal Saleh, Sian Smyth, and more.
